Join us at the Louisiana Art & Science Museum for Art After Hours: Curating San Carlin, an evening celebrating Louisiana's remarkable contributions to the world of high fashion. Discover the story of San Carlin, the Baton Rouge fashion house founded by Carla Jumonville and Linda Ward-Dalton in the 1980s, whose exquisite eveningwear and couture craftsmanship graced runways and prestigious retailers from New York to Paris.

The exhibition, Louisiana Couture: The Legacy of San Carlin, features stunning gowns and historic photographs that highlight the artistry, innovation, and lasting influence of this celebrated Louisiana fashion house.

From 6:00–8:00 PM, guests are invited to explore the exhibition before and after a special 6:30 PM lecture with Dr. Michael Mamp, curator of the exhibition, Director and Curator of the LSU Textile and Costume Museum, and Associate Professor at LSU. Dr. Mamp will share behind-the-scenes insights into the curatorial process, the preservation of these extraordinary garments, and the legacy of San Carlin.

Admission: $16 adults | $13 children (ages 3–12) and seniors | Free for LASM and LSU Textile and Costume Museum members, active-duty military, veterans, and first responders.
