Join the Louisiana Art & Science Museum for our Studio Saturday series, held every third Saturday of the month! Join Dr. Michael Mamp, Director and Curator at the LSU Textile and Costume Museum, from 10:00 AM–12:30 PM for a creative experience inspired by Louisiana Couture: The Legacy of San Carlin. Explore the glamour, craftsmanship, and artistry of this iconic Baton Rouge fashion house while learning the fundamentals of fashion illustration and sketching like a designer. All supplies are included.

This class is open to students of all ages. In addition to the workshop, the fee includes all-day admission to the museum and planetarium shows.

This hands-on experience includes:

• A short tour of the gallery
• Step-by-step instruction from professor Dr. Michael E. Mamp
• An introduction to fashion illustration 
• All drawing supplies provided
